    At Bruce Vining Services, LLC we strive to lead in the

    implementation of highly integrated solutions for the
    IBM System i user community.

    Bruce Vining

    Bruce Vining is President and co-founder of Bruce
    Vining Services L.L.C.  The company was
    incorporated in August of 2007.

    He began his career in 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri as
    an IBM Systems Engineer supporting the IBM
    System/38 and System/34.  Working primarily with the
    programming staffs of large accounts, his technical
    skills were quickly recognized and he was designated
    the System/38 Regional Specialist supporting
    companies throughout the Midwest.  In 1985 he
    transferred to the Rochester, Minnesota development
    lab where he was involved in the initial task force
    evaluating the feasibility of what was to become the
    AS/400 and System i.  In 1992 he joined the AS/400
    System Design Control Group (DCG) where he was
    responsible for the design and implementation of
    system APIs and exit points.  Over the years his DCG
    responsibilities grew to also include globalization,
    software serviceability, and general programming
    interfaces.

    Bruce is a graduate of the University of Illinois where
    he earned both a Bachelors of Science and a MBA.
